In Maryland you never know what the weather will bring in March. It could be 72 degrees with flowers blooming, or 28 degrees with 2 feet of snow. After weeks of warmer than usual weather, Jon and Ana’s day was a frigid 30 degrees and windy- but thankfully without the snow! That didn’t stop their love and joy from warming everyone’s hearts. Surrounded by closest friends and family there were tears and laughter and plenty of tender moments throughout the day. I loved seeing Jon’s reaction when he saw Ana during their First Look. It was such a sweet moment.
Jon and Ana’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of God’s perfect plan in bringing them together. And boy can they celebrate! Jon has been learning to salsa and he and Ana tore up the dance floor! So much fun! A blending of families, cultures and lives – just so lovely. Bretton Woods provided a simple and elegant backdrop for the day and all of the details came together perfectly with the help of friends and family despite Jon and Ana having only 2 1/2 months to pull it all together (they got engaged December 24!). Ana looked stunning and was so relaxed. Jon was also very laid back and couldn’t have been happier. Having been friends with Jon for many years now, it was extra special to be there to capture this day for them. I smile every time I think about Jon and Ana together. God is so faithful.
Thank you Jon and Ana for trusting me with the privilege of photographing your wedding day. Travis and I couldn’t be happier for you and are so blessed to call you friends. Many blessings on your marriage. XO
