A wedding is beautiful any time of the year but there’s something special about a wedding at Christmas time! James and Kristine’s ceremony took place the week after Christmas in 2018 at the beautiful St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in historic downtown Frederick. It was a glorious early winter day with plenty of sunshine and not too cold. Since Kristine’s mom Annette is a wonderful photographer herself (she has worked with me on many of my weddings and does an amazing job!) I was only there to capture the ceremony and some portraits afterwards. Annette took care of the rest of the day even though she was mother of the bride!! Amazing! Anyway, it was very special to be there to witness James and Kristine’s vows and their obvious love for each other – especially being friends with Kristine and her mom (and other sisters! – I shot her sister Beth’s wedding that August). I was honored to have been invited. Kristine was a stunning bride and the wintery colors complimented her dark haired beauty so well! She surprised James with a vintage car to drive them to the reception which also made for some adorable photos!
Thank you James and Kristine for allowing me to be part of your beautiful wedding! You are a lovely couple and I with you peace and joy in the days, weeks and years to come! XO
