Michael + Elinor | Virginia Wedding Photography

When I think of Michael and Elinor, I think of fairy tales- starry eyes and dreams come true; a beautiful princess and a dashing prince. Hopes for the future and a thirst for adventure. I think if you knew them you would agree.   The kind and gentle way Michael cares for Elinor and then makes her laugh and the sweet way she gazes adoringly up at him…their love is a forever love!

The sun was shining beautifully on the afternoon of their wedding and as the day lengthened it turned to gorgeous golden light.  The ceremony was a celebration of true love and a perfect match. Afterwards Elinor twirled her way through the gardens with her husband at her side and their family and friends watched with smiles as they danced together as husband and wife. The venue, Raspberry Plain was the perfect romantic setting for a perfectly romantic couple. Being there to capture these moments was truly an honor and a joy. Michael and Elinor, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your very special day. I wish you all the happiness in the world! XO

Ryun + Andee | Baltimore Engagement Photography

Ryun and Andee met as freshmen in college. Their first date was kind of an accident when after a group project Ryun suggested everyone go out and nobody could go except for Andee. She says that he was the first guy that things just clicked with in a natural way. And now here they are, 5 years later, both having just graduated and about to become man and wife. You don’t have to be around them long to see how smitten they are with each other. Ryun’s quiet confidence and Andee’s joyful enthusiasm make them a perfect match. I so enjoyed getting to know them as they showed me around bayside Havre de Grace. I can’t wait for their wedding on the water at the end of this month. I have a sneaky feeling it might be the happiest day of their lives! 🙂

Jon + Ariana | Maryland Wedding Photography

The sunny July day was hot and humid. As the bridal party and family gathered at Oxon Hill Manor to prepare to celebrate Jon and Ariana’s wedding, a thunderstorm erupted and showered the venue and those coming in with torrents of rain. (Yes, I was absolutely soaking wet when I arrived in the bridal room). Plans were quickly changed to hold the ceremony under the tent as the grass was too damp. But the sun came out and the drops of water glittered on the grass and the trees like diamonds. It would be a beautiful evening after all. Ariana handled the changes with the grace of a princess and that was what she looked like. I have never witnessed a more moving First Look than when Jon turned and saw his bride to be for the first time that day. There were tears and laughter and amazement as they beheld each other. It was absolutely breathtaking. 

Jon and Ariana pledged their love to one another in a beautifully moving ceremony and afterwards celebrated their new life with toasts and dancing…totally enthralled with each other and enjoying the blessing of family and friends. It was an honor to witness and to capture all the moments that made it so special. Thank you Jon and Arian with entrusting this sacred job to me! I am so happy for you both and can’t wait to see where your journey together takes you! XO
